Abdul Razak Damilola Afolabi simply known as LAX is an award winning Nigerian superstar born on April 10, 1993 in Lagos State, Nigeria. In 2012, LAX released his first major single “Jaye” which featured iconic rapper, Ice Prince.

However, it was this song that earned him a professional contract with Starboy Entertainment spearheaded by heavyweight superstar, Wizkid. On 20 August 2013, the fast rising star teamed up with his label boss to release his first single under the management titled “Caro”.

Till date, the song still remains one of his best and was nominated in the “Hottest Single of The Year” category at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Award. Following the success of “Caro”, he went to feature Wizkid again on another hit making song titled “Ginger”.

Since then, LAX has gone on to release bangers and collaborated with iconic superstars. Without any doubt, LAX is one of the most successful singers in Nigeria known for his unique style of music and outstanding song performances.
