High flying Nigerian musician, Wizkid unleashes his sophomore album titled “Ayo”

Prolific Nigerian hotshot, Wizkid hits the studio with his Sophomore studio collection named “Ayo”, a Yoruba word which means “Joy”. This album is a follow up to his debut album “Superstar” released in 2011. The Album was delivered in 2014 under Starboy Entertainment and Empire Mates Entertainment. Preceding its delivery were the singles “Jaiye”, “On Top Your Matter”, “One Question”, “Happiness”, “Bombay” and “Show You the Money”.

Furthermore, the aforementioned album houses 18 solid tracks plus one additional bonus track. The Album highlights coordinated efforts with Femi Kuti, Seyi Shay, Yemi Sax, Akon, Banky W., Phyno, Tyga, LAX and Wale. Wizkid enrolled Legendary Beat, Spellz, Sarz, Shizzi, Maleek Berry, Uhuru, Del B, and Dokta Frabz to create the collection. It got blended surveys from music pundits, with some recognizing its creation, tune course of action and sound quality, while others panned its verses.

“Ayo” won Best R&B/Pop Album and was nominated for Album of the Year twice at The Headies and Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2015.
