Douglas Jack Agu (born August 19, 1989) known by  his stage name, Runtown is a 33 years old Nigerian Afrobeats singer, songwriter, and producer. He is an Igbo boy who hails from Enugu State. However, after his father’s death, he moved to Abuja with his mother. 

Having started singing at a very tender age, he was thrown into the spotlight after his debut single, “Gallardo” became an instant hit. The song featured vocals from music heavyweight, Davido, who helped Runtown secure a record deal with Eric Manny Entertainment. 

Runtown followed the hit single with the release of his debut album, “Ghetto University”, and the award winning single,  “Mad Over You” in 2015.
