The one and only self acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy combines efforts with DJDS, an American DJ duo consisting of Jerome Potter & Sam Griesemer to deliver a collaborative EP dubbed “Steel & Copper”. The collection was released in 2019, through Spaceship Entertainment, Bad Habit, Atlantic Records and Loma Vista Recordings. It comprises of 4 solid and exceptional records.

The intriguing EP, “Steel & Copper combines elements of dancehall and reggae music with Afropop and trap. This astonishing EP is the follow-up to Burna Boy’s third studio album “Outside” and DJDS’ fourth studio album “Big Wave More Fire”.

Steel & Copper blends Burna Boy’s upbeat melodies with DJDS, slinky trap beats. DJDS uses a descending half-step piano bass line to start the track, and incorporates brilliantly sampled and chopped up soul vocals.
