Adekunle Idowu simply known as Idowest is a Nigerian rapper and songwriter born on November 2, 1992 in Lagos state. He was raised in Lagos Island where he became part of the local music gang known as MAFIA Gang.

Idowest started his career from local performances, having released a couple of singles. He rose to fame with the hit single “Shepeteri” featuring Slimcase.

After then, he got signed to Davido Music worldwide (DMW) record label, a home to the likes of Mayorkun, Dremo, Peruzzi and Yonda. Idowest is a versatile artist that can flow on any beat.
